Learning Outcomes

Participants can tell the 3 Flight Levels and the 5 Activities.

  1. Participants can apply different Flow Types to a given context.
  2. Participants can build Flight Level 2 boards for a real work context which…
    1. optimise for outcome instead of output;
    2. connect discovery with delivery;
    3. handle multiple Flight Item Types in one flow;
    4. make wait time visible;
    5. make business bottlenecks visible;
    6. handle flow blockers;
    7. handle back-flow;
    8. create focus across the flow in different ways;
  3. Participants can connect Flight Level 2 systems to Flight Level 1 and Flight Level 3 systems.
  4. Participants can tell what flow is and what role “creating focus” plays in establishing flow across multiple teams in an organisation.
  5. Participants can define success criteria for a Flight Level 2 system, and they can set up measurements and counter measurements that act as feedback loops.
  6. Participants can set up Agile Interactions for Flight Level 2 systems.
  7. Participants can tell how the Flight Levels Flow Design fits into the bigger picture of a Flight Levels Systems Architecture.
  8. Participants can define the “next steps” to start a Flight Level 2 system.
